De film is van dit jaar, maar hij gaat over iets dat begon in 1953.
Over dat begin gaat trouwens ook de volgende clip: het eerste optreden van ene Elvis

De film is nu nog niet te zien in de bioscopen, maar schijnt 't goed gedaan te hebben op het festival in Cannes.

"Elvis had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on May 25, 2022, where it received a twelve-minute standing ovation from the audience, the longest for an American film at the festival and tying with Hirokazu Kore-eda's Broker for the longest overall".
Interessant is nog dat in deze film ook de rol van manager Tom Parker (oftewel de uit Breda afkomstige Dries van Cuijck) uitgebreid belicht wordt. |

Kwam er net achter dat zanger en componist "Andres", bekend van o.a. het duo Sandra & Andres in 2020 het tijdelijke met het eeuwige heeft verruild.
Vind dat hij zeker 'n plaats verdient in dit Muziekmuseum.
